John Peters, EMT-LP
Graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) in 1986, Amarillo College with a Certificate of Paramedicine in 2000, The University of North Texas Teacher Certification 2006. Mr. Peters has been teaching Health Science Technology Education at Hereford High School since 2006.

Mr. Peters became an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in 1982 while attending Eastern New Mexico University and worked at Roosevelt General Hospital in the Nursing Home and Emergency Room. From 1996 - 2003 Mr. Peters was first an EMT then later a Paramedic on the Ski Patrol at Angel Fire, New Mexico. In 2000 Mr. Peters received his Paramedic license and worked as a field Paramedic in Dimmitt, TX and later as a Paramedic and Director of Emergency Services for the City of Fritch, TX from 2003 to 2005.

Mr. Peters will be teaching the Health Science (Sophomore) class, The Jr. Practicum in Health Science Class, the Sr. Practicum in Health Science class and the Medical Terminology (Online) class.
